You women of a certain age might remember ... DES, Thalidomide, the Dalkon Shield ... my question to you, to all of us is: Have any of us connected the dots between what happened then and what's happening now? If not, this conversation will bring you up to date.

Wow! What a powerful conversation. I sat listening, with my eyes closed, and found myself nodding in agreement for the 45 minutes. You voiced so many of my thoughts and convictions about the past 4 years! I’ve been in a bit of a nosedive for the last couple of years after my good friend and spiritual mentor left this earth plane, so this posting and interview were continuing examples of synchronicity for me. As always, I had a number of “ah ha” moments when listening to you, nudging be back to listening to my body and intuition. Thank you for sharing your wisdom! 💖

Good conversation. Thanks Marcella! I have a friend who's mom was prescribed DES when she was pregnant, and while she had a" healthy" baby girl, it took them decades to figure out that my friend had a deformed uterus. She tried to become pregnant for years and years, and they finally figured out why it wasn't happening. She and her mom were both a medical experiment. She ended up adopting a daughter who is an incredible blessing in all of our lives, so maybe that was meant to be.

Thanks for posting this story, Tina! And to your point--a wise friend of mine once said, "Trauma is a catalyst of evolution." And I've often said that within every trauma there is some gift, some blessing, and some lesson. Your story testifies to that. I'm glad your friend now has a beautiful daughter she can love. And let's all pray that some day women's reproductive health will no longer be on the bargaining table. 🙏🏼
