Firstly, i agree with Laurie Renfro, Marcella and I’ll laud Your Writing Ability;, as well;excellent capture of deep material, distilled to essence. “Aging is Not for sissies.” And the fact that You tackle it so adroitly is to me proof of Your ability to suffuse the subject with radical honesty from an aging perspective and harnessing the intelligence, mindfulness and Energy of a Gifted, Compassionate observer. Your Youth and Age work beautifully in concert, Marcella.
Yeah, a writer you are, like it or not! I turned 67 this year. Sitting too much makes me feel old. Walking out in nature revives me & gives me hope that I’m still ok!
“I realize that I care less about whether the world remembers me when I’m gone than whether the world remembers itself. “ Another stunner! I’m always impressed by your ability to capture a complex sentiment in just a few words. Congratulations on your year of great writing on Substack.
Aw thanks Laurie! I took my inspiration from your recent anniversary post. I didn’t realize that we were the same vintage of Substackers. Thanks as always for your feedback and support. ✍🏾🔥🍀
I know, like it or not, right? I’ve heard it said that sitting 🪑 is the new smoking 🚬 and had the realization today that I need to get one of those desks that you can raise so as to sit or stand. What would Flo do? She’d hit the track, of course! 🎽

Wow, John, thank you so much! Might there likewise be a haiku Substack forthcoming from you?
Happy birthday Marcella!! 🎂
Thanks! Love your work!
Thanks Marcella! 🥰
